WELCOME >>
The Charleston, Cincinnati, and Chicago (Triple C) Rail Trail is a twenty-three mile long shared use trail in York and Cherokee counties, South Carolina.
The Triple C Rail Trail primarily runs from east to west; beginning just west of Tirzah, and continuing through the City of York, and the towns of Sharon, Hickory Grove, and Smyrna, before ending at Kings Creek, near Blacksburg in Cherokee County. (Portions of which are not yet accessible)
The trail runs on the abandoned right-of-way of the Charleston, Cincinnati, and Chicago Railroad, or Triple C. The section of railroad between Tirzah and Kings Creek was constructed between 1886 and 1889.
